It was fine. The romance kinda felt under-developed; it went from 0 to 100 with no inbetween and I was less than impressed. The twists in the story I saw coming from the first chapter, but maybe I've just read too many similar stories and it isn't quite so obvious to other people?
I've said this before and I'll say it again and again (maybe I need to host a weekend program where authors can learn it properly), LOSING YOUR VIRGINITY SHOULD NOT BE PAINFUL. STOP MISINFORMING PEOPLE!!! If you are having penetrative sex for the first time, make sure it is with someone who will stop if you say it hurts, who you're comfortable with so that you can relax. There should be no breaking through any barriers. Sex is natural and your body is built for it, there should not be any pain if it is done properly (please use lots of lube, make sure you are properly aroused and your partner is aware of what they're doing). If there is pain, please stop and try again later. Do. Not. Force. It. If pain persists see your doctor (and/or dump your partner since they might not be acting very considerately).
