Shade Spells with Friends continues the overarching storyline from the previous two books with new romantic leads. I appreciate how the authors create such distinct characters and relationships. This one was the most heartbreaking to watch (though fear not, this is a romance, so there is a happy ending). I definitely recommend this for fans of the authors' signature queernormative historical fantasy and lovable characters who you want the best for.

I'm curious to see which side character(s) will become lead(s) in the next book!
