Like several of Ali Smith's books this features interlinking character stories, short but intense vignettes, historical references, and searing political commentary - all in her inimitable prose style, with no speech marks and unconventional punctuation or text sizing in places. ⁣

This is an incredible snapshot of Brexit Britain, fake news, the rise of right wing politics, and social media control. Highly recommended. ⁣
