Dreaming is about intention, and Ronan intended for this forest to last. He intended for this forest to tell him how to exist in the future as a dreamer. He intended for this forest to be able to survive without him. He intended for this forest to want him.
(It was about Adam, of course)

How do I survive after reading this series? I love all of it so much.

I cannot believe Maggie Stiefvater just came up with all that. What a mind she has!
I don’t even know if the book was good, because to me, it felt like reality. I was so invested in that world, that I didn’t even think of it as of a book with an actual plot.
I’m convinced, that it is a very good and complete ending for the whole story. Obviously, I will miss al the characters, but I also don’t think there’s a need for another book. Maybe I’ll change my mind if Maggie ever decides to write one, but for now I’m satisfied.

after 7 books in this universe, this ending felt a little anticlimactic, though i don’t really know where this series could go from here so it’s probably for the best that it stops with this book. i just wish there was an extra ~50ish pages to round out the story and tie up loose ends!

i did love this book though and i will continue to defend maggie stiefvater's weird writing choices and ronan lynch's psychotic tendencies with my life!!

it ending with adam and ronan getting engaged was perfect

“He's a more complicated machine than I am. What was I meant to do? Make it all worth it to him. What was he meant to do? More.”.

30 years old and 10 years into this series and I'm still gut-wrenchingly whipped for Ronan, and Adam, and Ronan-and-Adam, and the Lynch brothers, and the Lynch family. They skin me raw.
