For a book that is about Ronan, there is a huge lack of him.
Other than that Declan and Matthew slayed, Hennessy stays unlikeable and Niall perhaps stole my heart.

hard book to rate
i definitely didn't like it as much as the rest of the series. it felt messy and paced wrong and had too many shifts and things going on. however it wasn't terrible and i enjoyed a lot of it. it got much better towards the end and i really did enjoy the ending, it really brought things together.
gonna miss this series it was cool <3

They dreamt of the Forest; the Forest dreamt of them. -pg 3

'Every day I discover more and more beautiful things. It's enough to drive me mad.' Or maybe 'drive one mad.' -pg 61

She was nothing but the shit other people stepped in. -pg 127

"I don't understand, love - are you telling me you just say things because you think I want to hear you say them?"
"Right, yes!" She seemed glad that he'd figured it out, rather than ashamed. "But you see, that's what I thought you were doing, too, for a long time. I thought everyone was. I thought we were all in this grand play on a stage, where it's like when someone asks how you are and you say 'fine,' because that's what you're supposed to say. But it's not really like that, is it? Because when you say you love me, you feel it, don't you? -pg 200

You know this isn't how the world is supposed to be.
It was everywhere and nowhere.
At night, we used to see stars. You could see by starlight back then, after the sun went down. Hundreds of headlights chained together in the sky, good enough to eat, good enough to write legends about, good enough to launch men at.
You don't remember because you were born too late.
Maybe I underestimate you. Your head's full of dreams. They must remember.
Does any part of you still look at the sky and
hurt? -pg 306
