I loved this book but realistically I should have given it a 4 ⭐️. However, the last 4 sentences were so perfect that I had to give 5⭐️.
West and Phoebe were great together, I loved their chemistry. I usually don’t like children in books but this story was a delight. Also, there were cats!!!!!

I waited so long for this book to be released. So yeah, started this yesterday and finished it today.

This book really made me love West so much ! I adore him in "The Cold Hearted Rake" and I'm so so happy he got his own book and let me tell you, he's adorable, a soft male-a cinnamon roll that can literally break any one but still a cinnamon roll, a soft little brother and a loving cousin to his dear Pandora, Cassandra and also to his friend/ sister-in law, Katherine.

The story was a roller-coaster ride for me. Having to know the backstory of both Devon and West in this story made me care for them more where I figure out that West also had his own insecurities which is very shocking, I find him very confident, but in his story, he was indeed vulnerable.

What I adore in this story were not just the lovey-dovey scenes but also the character development of both, specifically Phoebe a loving mother to her 2 sons and an older sister- from hating West for what he's done to his dead husband to caring him.

It was already a very good story but some parts were boring and it seems to be rushed but the most disappointing part were the last few pages , rushed scene of their closure was supposed shouldn't done that way (in my opinion). Either way, I thought I'll get another chapter of what just happened and it turns out the story was done already.

Like what I've said, I was a little bit disappointed by how the ending turned out to be, not that I didn't like it, I just wanted it to be a little bbit longer than it was.
