 Our book group had a terrific discussion of The Great Displacement: Climate Change and the Next American Migration by Jake Bittle. It’s one of those books with a depressing but desperately important topic. Fortunately, it’s so well-written that it’s a pleasure from the reading perspective which is a balance for the heavy material. Plus, we all learned a lot!

Important but depressing book to read like most books about the effects of climate change are. Still though, this one touches on climate refugees, capitalism (ofc) and how the biggest threat for climate refugees is extreme heat.
