It's such a saddening thing that I'm almost done with this series. I've yet to read a book in it that I haven't loved. This one was still no different.

WOW! I am so freaked out by the surprise turn of events at the end of this book, and it I can't believe we have to wait until August to find out the end of Jo's journey!

I'm fairly certain I read this one. If I remember correctly, and if it's the same book as the one in my mind. LOL it was pretty good. :) I like Caine's writing style.

This was such a fantastic read, loved everything that happened in this book, even if it hurt, and I need the final book!

I didn't realise how emotionally invested I was in these characters until I read Cape Storm. Once I put down this book I was feeling so sad and desperate and hopeless, which is pretty much what the characters were feeling by then.

This book has got to be the emotional roller-coaster of this series so far. It hurt me so bad to read this. Everything was dark and desperate throughout this story.

Cape Storm was all about dark themes. It was all desperation, anger and sadness all rolled into a book.  Everyone is emotional and everyone is going through a tough time, so it really impacts the reader's mind. It had this really dark apocalyptic feel throughout.

It was so hard to see Jo, David and Lewis getting hurt so bad when  you've been with them on their journey for 7 books in the series so far. Unspoken secrets (or not-so-secret secrets) were finally brought to light and those scenes were painful to read. I'm feeling so scarred by how emotionally raw this book was.

I'm dreading reading the next book; not just because it would be the last but also because Cape Storm ended on an enormously pessimistic note. I'm just so scared to see how this series ends and at the same time I don't want it to end!

Cape Storm left me completely emotionally scarred. I couldn't even write a coherent review after I was done reading!

All in all, Caine's writing is amazing and I'm so unprepared for what's  coming in Total Eclipse.

This is one of my favourite books in this series. I have read most of these books almost back to back and i like them all. My favourite parts of this book happened towards the end. I wont put any spoilers but i will say that even after everything that happened Lewis is still my favourite character.

Cape Storm was OK. Joanne has to deal with a Demon mark and helping the Wardens and Djinn fight Bad Bob. Throughout most the story, she's struggling to maintain her morality and it's a constant fight. Things don't go quite as planned and there was one scene of extreme emotional intensity. Things wrapped up in the usual Caine manner. My fascination with Joanne and company has come to an end, unfortunately. I'll probably read the next in the series, but honestly, I wish the author would wrap it up already.
