George och Lennie är två vänner som arbetar på olika gårdar under en fattig tid. Lennie är funktionshandikappad och gillar att klappa på allt som är mjukt. George ser alltid till att ta hand om sin vän, trots att de flera gånger behövt fly från gårdar då Lennie har rört fruarnas kläder och hår. It's a remarkable feat to have so many flawed but sympathetic characters fleshed out in 90 pages. This story is an aching little pocket of humanity to settle into for a short while.

i had to read this for school so i'm not gonna rate it but i think i am getting to the point where i can actually enjoy classics cuz i read the red pony and was like why did i even read that but now i see the point in reading a story like that (character development!!) anyway good book i think has lots of room for analysis n stuff but i couldn't even make predictions cuz someone spoiled it 4 me so THANKS vipanchi 😐
