This was fineeee. Written kind of childishly in a way, but I'm intrigued by the family enough to want to read one more in the series. It honestly didn't feel that dark maybe that's why I'm feeling mediocre about it. Instalove is fine for me, but in the beginning it legit felt like I skipped a chapter so I think this book could have used more editing in regards to the flow of the story. The sex scenes also felt pretty cringe to me.

"I don’t know what love feels like. I don’t know what empathy or guilt feel like. But I know this: I want to fuck you and fight with you and fight for you and make up with you and make out with you and eat Greek food naked with you."

I hardly even know what to say about this read. It was, as the title would suggest- unhinged. But also lovely, in a darkly broken sort of way. I enjoyed every last second of this romance between psychopath Adam and Noah. It's hard to put Noah's character into words. Let's just say that both of them were really well written.

I loved reading about Adam's family and the strange bond between all of them. I loved how Noahs' story of abuse unraveled as his memories returned and how Adam's family helped unravel that mystery.

I would highly recommend Unhinged, but only if you're prepared to read a very, very dark romance. Check your trigger warnings!

Okay this must have been me and not the book since I really didn’t love this…

I wanted to love it but it didn’t feel as dark as I wanted it to be. There was too much sex going on and not enough killing happening haha. This was also VERY instalove like they were obsessed with one another two days after meeting…. Ehh idk not as believable as other books with instalove.

The narrator isn’t my favorite.. Liam Dicosimo made Adam sound like a 80 year old smoker… and all adults sounded like just filmed a bad cowboy movie…

I probably won’t continue the series.. I don’t think the author works with me. I this is the 3rd book I’ve read by Onley James and I don’t think I have rated any of them over a 3…

I enjoyed the book and loved Adam and Noah. Why it isn't a 5 star for me is because I would've wanted more depth in it somehow. I love spice but would've loved to read a bit more plot and just more of the characters thoughts throughout the book. For it to be a book about extremely dark topics it was a surprisingly light read and worked well as holiday reading.

This is my second reading and I still love Adam and Noah so much. They will always be my fave of the series.

This book mentions some really messed up stuff that has happened to both of the main characters so please check TWs.

It is a phenomenal "maybe" love story and it shows how trauma can colour all relationships going forward and affect how you see yourself and what you think you deserve.
