This book was very pretty and fun to look at. I didn’t really learn anything new from it, but this would make a great gift for a young woman just starting her own professional career and trying to build a wardrobe.

Candace Cameron bure is my guilty pleasure. I just love how kind, classy, and family-friendly she is. So yes, I read all her books and binge watch Fuller House because everyone has to love an over-the-top, ridiculous sitcom. This book is written very much in Bure's voice. While some of this book is full of common sense advice, some of it is surprisingly helpful in not only cultivating your own style, but having the ability to be confident in what you choose. Her biographical insight helps prove her points and demonstrate how she has worked to be more comfortable in her own skin. I wouldn't recommend this book to everyone (especially those more fashion-forward) but if you are a Bure-fan, you would probably enjoy this and her other books.

Who didn't watch Full House growing up? I know on Friday nights, I looked forward to the TGIF shows on TV and would snuggle up on the couch with my mom and sing at the top of my lungs, "Whatever happened to predictability.....". I loved tuning in every Friday night, mostly cause I had a crush on Uncle Jessie, but also, because I thought DJ Tanner was the coolest and often wondered what it would be like to have her for a big sister or a friend. Now, I'm all grown up with two kids of my own and I get to read her amazing accomplishments, most recently, Staying Stylish. It is currently the center piece of my coffee table where it will continue to be for me, and others, to look through on a daily basis. She gives absolutely amazing advice in this book.

Now, I am not a skinny woman. Not by a long shot, but reading through this book, Candace gives great style and healthy living advice in a way that makes me feel included. She incorporates her faith and love of God into her pages. Now a days, in the type of world we live in, we find people who all to often hide their faith and religion for fear of being judged or frowned upon. But not Ms. Bure. She lets it shine and it really makes this coffee table book the perfect addition for my family.

I am definitely pleased that I got this book. It is definitely full of 5 star worthy tips and suggestions. After closing the book, I sat there reflecting on her words and thinking about the things she said that I could do to make myself more stylish without really changing who I am as a person. I definitely recommend this book to all! Ms. Bure will capture your heart and you'll want to share this book with everyone in your life. I can't wait to get more of her books with fantabulous tips inside! Bravo, Ms. Bure. Bravo!

A quick read. I’ve loved Candace Cameron since I was very young and I think she’s an excellent role model. In this book, she manages to find a good balance in giving advice on things that could seem “fluffy” without actually being so! As a new mom, I feel my best when I take care of myself, and there were a lot of good self-care ideas in here for all aspects of life, fashion and beyond. I especially liked her health and exercise tips. Fun book!

My friends know that I jokingly refer to Candace Cameron Bure as my style icon, so obviously I had to read a book of hers that was on her personal style. The thing is, I don’t really know who would actually buy books like this!! I’m not a big coffee table book, but maybe that would what this is? I don’t even know. It’s kind of a novelty book. A one-and-done book. I read it in under 2 hours and flipped through pictures like it was magazine. Mostly, since I already follow her, I’d already read most of this stuff on her social media somewhere. So nothing was really knew.
Although I did find it nice and helpful that she didn’t only talk about expensive high end brands. She always mentioned her favorite affordable brands as well.
But I guess it was fun.
All in all, borrow don’t buy.
