This was really fun and cute. The pacing just felt off and I didn't care about any of the side drama.

Good read.

Better than her first. Fluffy and short.

I had a great time spending a few hours with the best of the lady mustangs ! A fun book with sweet characters .

4.5/5 - I liked this one. It had so much heart and feeling behind it. Alexa Martin continues to write mature characters that seem to talk about things and act like adults. This book also tackles some big issues within football, including concussion syndrome.

I loved Poppy, the heroine of the book and how she was raising her son as a single mother. Ace was such a cute and loveable character. I also loved how parts of the previous book were tied in, with some characters we knew and loved (and didn't love) from Intercepted coming in and playing a part.

The romance in this book was not only sweet, but HOT too. But more than the romance there was the love in their relationship.

I look forward to picking up the next book in the series!

Fumbled is the second book in the Playbook series and follows TK and Poppy. I didn’t love this one as much as Intercepted. I felt like Poppy’s story wasn’t developed as much as Marlee’s was in Book 1. However, I did appreciate the friendships that emerged and TK & Poppy’s steamy relationship. I also liked that the secondary characters still have a prominent role in the book. Other interconnected series I’ve read kind of ignore them or throw them in as an afterthought, but Martin does a great job of keeping them in the forefront and making them integral to the story. I’m still enjoying this series. It’s still laugh out loud funny, relatable and sweet. Looking forward to book 3 and reading Brynn’s story.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I wasn’t sure if I was going to get into this one (not a huge pregnancy trope fan) but it wasn’t even close to cliche! Freaking TK and Poppy have my heart, the story was so good and the character is maturity during hard times was so fun to read.

I liked this better than Intercepted. Poppy is a lovable character and the plot is very fluffy.
