I liked the conclusion better than the set up, but the story was too convoluted for me to fully enjoy. It was really just too much fan service done poorly, in my opinion.

I like this, but it's hard to keep a handle on. This might be one of those series you hold off until multiple volumes are available so you can read a lot all at once. I think when you've got more of the picture to look at, it will be clearer.

The drawback of these multi parters, multi doctors comics is you need to read a lot of other comics to get the whole story. Thankfully, the main story is covered in here, though some characters are just there but barely speak anything, and to be honest, because I haven't kept up with this line of comics, I had no idea who some of them actually were.
My eldest really enjoyed it though, he's 11 and just getting into comic book Who, and he wanted me to read it as well. It's enjoyable, full colour, and fan pleasing. The likeness drops a few times, but the costumes help you keep track of who's who.
This series really needs me to invest in it a bit more because I keep enjoying everything I have read so far.

Four stars for the ending - the rest was quite a tumble but the ending, the whole explanation thing, was worth it! So good
