A sort of repeat of the first book, just from the other sisters perspective, the same thing happens, she plays the game and wins, and along the way falls in love with the disregarded love interest of the first book.

There’s a lot going on, the game itself felt a bit pointless, it was all just designed around Donatella, it was her game not anyone else’s, so there was never any doubt she would win

The game also seems less important this time because it’s so rigged, the clues and the mystery of it all is almost non existent.

It still gets 3.5 stars for its unique and easily readable format, as well as interesting characters such as Legend, Elantine and Jacks. Although I can’t say I’m a massive fan of Scarlett or Donatella
