I really loved the added world building in this book. At first I really missed Scarlett as our protagonist but Tella's impulsivity to keep the plot moving helped somewhat ease that. The added stakes of Caraval with Paloma and the Fates really kept me swept up in the drama of everything.

Loved the expansion of the world and Dontella’s POV, although I wish there had been more of Scarlet. Great new magic and characters with the intro of Jacks.
