Whilst the first two books in the series were from Stella and Poe’s POV’s, we are introduced to Sunday’s POV at the end of Fractured Things, and book three picks up with this chapter as the first chapter in Restless Things.

The story is from the POV’s of two new main characters - Sunday and Payne, and we still have snippets of Stella and Poe and their relationship, but you must read the first two books in the Folkestone Sins Series to understand the series.

I like that this story further dove into more of Sunday’s backstory and the developing relationship of Sunday and Payne. These two each have their own secrets and hurt, but their love for each other has always been at a distance.

The cliffhanger on this book had me immediately starting Ruined Things, as I needed to know more of what was happening in Sunday and Payne story.

When I read the first Folkstone Sins book last year I was blown away, same with the second one. But this one? It even outdoes book 1. I cannot say much because although this book is part one of Sunday and Payne's duet, it is connected to the first duet and as such cannot be read as a standalone. There are so many MORE twists and turns than even I could have imagined and I found this to be over WAY too soon. I'm not sure how all the threads will tie together and I'm a little afraid for how this will turn around. I forsee some pain in my future. HA! I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
