For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleAdorable story of friendship. This is classic Gerald and Piggie. So cute.Very entertaining illustrations and dialogue. These are great books to read aloud or take turns reading with children. A wonderful read. Highly recommend to fans of the Elephant & Piggie series.

This is a great book.
I'm not sure what it is that makes it such that my son is so attracted to it, but reading time is taking twice as long these days because he wants to read both of the books that he has from this series.
The writing is on the wall: I'm going to have to buy several more of these.
Verdict: strongly recommended.
Caveat Emptor!
You will not only be able to buy one of these.

This series could not be more perfect for beginning readers. My kids are 5 & 7, both reading at a first grade level, and they LOVE this series. They are actually excited about reading! With the expressive illustrations and engaging dialogue, these books are teaching my little ones to read with better fluency and expressiveness. Even for parents, the stories are full of laugh-out-loud fun. I can't praise this series enough! Thank you Mo Willems for helping my kids to love reading!

February 2017 - I love how quickly Ben picks up on the pattern of the story, reading the facial expressions to know exactly how Gerald feels each time he sees a new, fun thing.
