I’ve been craving for some Nutcracker Retellings lately, and after getting Kindle Unlimited again due to 2 free months decided to pick up this short retelling.
This is only 18 pages and so I wasn’t expecting much, especially plot wise, but I was hoping for more atmosphere to be honest, I could forgo a plot if I could get a nice, atmospheric setting but unfortunately for me it just missed the mark a bit in that regard for me. I don’t regret reading it but I don’t think it adds anything new to the story.
