This is so much fun - a motley crew attempt an impossible heist, directed by a Bondesque villain complete with secret island lair, sharks, trapdoors & giant aquariums.
Irene must all her wits to keep this crew from imploding, achieve the mission & receive the book that will save a world. As ever, treachery lurks...

Hmmmm. Maybe a 3.5. Maybe.
This one didn't do as much for me as recent works. It felt kind of hastily tossed together towards the end. Still a fun book.

Another great book in the series! Fast paced, as usual.

Another solid installation in The Invisible Library series that expands the world of the dragons.
My only criticism is that the number of characters the reader is required to keep track of in this nod to great heist movies makes the plot a bit unwieldy.
I received this book from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wonderful, as always. The ending, though! I'll just say, we probably have something huge coming for us in the next book.
Also, absolutely stunning cover design. The metalic effect of the blue colour is amazing!
(No, I did not receive a special pre-release edition. The book just arrived a bit early.)

This was a joy to read. Although I didn't realise it was part of a series, as a self-contained story, I tore through this. Filled with adventure, compelling characters, and it maintained a steady pace. Will be checking out more from this series.

This installment was much less about politics and exposition and more about the details of a heist. Of course, the heist has major political implications for Fae, Dragons, and Librarians...!
