A very cool premise that was just not executed well. This book had so much potential but the excessive time hops took away from the underlying message. It also felt choppy at times and when I did some research, 2 authors wrote the book. This makes complete sense why it felt like two different styles.

I wish the MC showed at least a little bit of growth. She was confused the whole time and even by the end, imo, felt like the same woman she was at the beginning.

Barely a 2.5 ⭐️ the concept is creative but the author sticks to the surface level throughout. I couldn’t connect with the story and I disliked ALL of the characters. I didn’t find it believable and was consistently annoyed by the plot and the interactions. It’s entertaining enough but I truly wouldn’t recommend this book.

very much outside of what I usually am drawn too.., but still a delight.. in a train-wreck kind of way. (it’s kind of like watching the movie Bridesmaids.. comically tragic)
