Such a cute heart felt story that I almost thought didn’t have a happy ending.

There were times I felt like it was skimming over plot points that deserved more. Is this YA? It feels very YA. I had it on 1.35x speed and it still felt drawn out. I do greatly appreciate how Millie Bobby Brown took inspiration from her personal family history. 2.75⭐️

I put this book on hold as soon as I saw it on the library pages.  I figured if "Eleven" wrote a book I should read it.  I didn't realize there was controversy over her having a ghostwriter.  Anyway, it was an interesting story about a WW2 tragedy that I knew nothing about so it gets 3 stars for that.
