I liked it but it felt like the pacing was both too slow and too fast. The beginning felt too slow and then the ending conflict just felt like it came out of nowhere.

I like these books a lot, but I am bit tired of the whole cross-dressing thing. It's something that is done frequently in HR and it's not my fav. It doesn't help that I recently finished Say No to the Duke (The Wildes of Lindow Castle) and it was similar...so I think I'll pass on this trope in the future.

Now....Villier is intriguing. He reminds me a bit of Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent, so I am eager to get to his book....
