I didn’t know i need callie and castle book until now. the spice in this made me blush like no other. i did enjoy book 4 more than i did this one but still a book i couldn’t put down. i love the relationship between castle and cil, im obsessed with their friendship and them being bffs.
I did have a hard time with liking Callie’s character at times which was disappointing cause i loved her in all the other ones but she was incredibly immature and did things that were absolutely ridiculous and wrong. Also she let castle walk all over her in the beginning of the book and i hated that.
Castle was literally the grump of all grumps, i loved him majority of the book but i did think the way he talked to callie and treated her at times was a little over the top. also i didn’t like how he let callie pull the crap she did without getting mad at her.
the tension between callie and castle was brilliant, watching castle break down his walls for her was amazing and my heart broke for him. i truly did love them as a couple and how they did help each other when it counts.

When I saw the song in the playlist I giggled then the scenes where they talk about the movie and HE’S the one defending it? Hilarious. It is very rare to find a dark mafia romance where the main focus isn't on the spice. Don't get me wrong, Jagger's books give you a LOT of spice but the amount of spice doesn't in anyway compromise the plot or the characters of his stories.
Stolen Hearts gives us Castle James & Callie Drakos story (eventually).
If you have read the previous books you will know that Callie is approaching the time to prepare for her arranged marriage to Luca Carveli. She has been promised to him since she was 14.
Castle was a former ranger who has some ghosts to fight, and is now bodyguard and practically brother to Neve and Eilish, Callies best friends. Callie has been in love with Castle since she was first introduced to him. He has had feelings for Callie but feels it is better for her not to act on them.
That all changes when Callie finds herself in a dangerous predicament one night, which results in Castle saving her. As a result of the events of this night, the agreement between the Drakos and Carveli families changes and to avoid the outcome and having to follow through on these changes, we see Callie entering into another arranged marriage, this time with Castle who has just been made head of the Kildare Irish mafia family.
Even though Castle agrees to the arranged marriage he is determined the marriage will be in name only, but its not long before Callie starts defying him and pushing his buttons and the sparks start to fly.
I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.
