I loved the darkness. I loved the sexy scenes between Castle & Callie. I loved the family of all the characters that are connected.
Callie’s crush in Castle was something she tried so hard to avoid. But when she finds the courage to let him know, he rejects her but she doesn’t necessarily let that deter her from letting him know she’s still there & waiting.
I liked the twist at the end but a part of me kind of guessed it.

Callie is a Greek mafia princess who has been promised to a much older, disgusting Italian mafia boss. Castle is a longtime bodyguard / pseudo older brother to Callie’s two best friends , Neve and Eilish. He is also number 2 in command in the Irish mafia Kildare family.
I loved the banter and tension between the two! Callie is quite the FMC and I love how she’s not afraid to push Castle’s buttons. She has had a crush on Castle for a while now and finally makes her feelings known to him. Before either of them can really process what is going on, Callie’s life is in grave danger and Castle steps in to protect her without hesitation.
I really enjoyed learning more about Castle’s background too! This book finally dives deep into the psyche of his character and we really get to learn why he is the way he is. The plot twists were so good!!

I didn’t know i need callie and castle book until now. the spice in this made me blush like no other. i did enjoy book 4 more than i did this one but still a book i couldn’t put down. i love the relationship between castle and cil, im obsessed with their friendship and them being bffs.
I did have a hard time with liking Callie’s character at times which was disappointing cause i loved her in all the other ones but she was incredibly immature and did things that were absolutely ridiculous and wrong. Also she let castle walk all over her in the beginning of the book and i hated that.
Castle was literally the grump of all grumps, i loved him majority of the book but i did think the way he talked to callie and treated her at times was a little over the top. also i didn’t like how he let callie pull the crap she did without getting mad at her.
the tension between callie and castle was brilliant, watching castle break down his walls for her was amazing and my heart broke for him. i truly did love them as a couple and how they did help each other when it counts.

This was a decent read. Fast paced, okay-ish plot and lots of smut with a dose of action. I liked Castle and Callie as a couple - there's just something about an age gap, forbidden romance that gets me ya know? I would probably gag if a man called me baby girl irl or if I called him daddy. But with Castle James? Ngl, it was kinda hot. As much as Castle annoyed me with his hot and cold behavior, it was still manageable. Also the jealousy scenes made up for it in a way ig. If you're looking for a mafia romance with a good plot and lots of steamy scenes, then Stolen Hearts is the book for you! I can't wait to see what else Jagger Cole has got in store for us with this series!!!

Like the whole back and forth castle was doing was giving me whiplash and Callie being a brat was just too much for me. But after many 70% it picked up tremendously, where I could actually get into it. Honestly had the bad guy from jump but the other was shocking so that was nice. Very happy with the overall book definitely recommend!

This book is my FAVORITE out of this whole series. Absolutely amazing. I’ve been waiting for Castles story and it was perfect.
Castle was an army ranger for years and then became the bodyguard of two girls closest to Callie ever since they were little. Once their families came together with Callie’s family, she develop a major crush on Castle. He is 12 years older than her and until recently, he becomes the head of the Kildare mafia. Callie is also a mafia princess and was promised to marry a man three times her age who is a total pig. When the man she was supposed to marry dies suddenly, Castle is in a position to save Callie from having to marry someone who potentially is a horrible person or someone who can easily take away the families money. Callie of course is over the moon that she is about to be in an arranged marriage with the man she’s been crushing on over the past year but Castle sees it simply as an assignment. He doesn’t want romance or anything along those lines with a woman who is way younger than him especially since he has his own demons he’s kept tucked away for years. This book has an insane amount of tension, chemistry, forced proximity, and amazing spice. It was so much fun to read. I loved everything about it. Callie is the kind of girl who isn’t going to give up when she wants something. And Castle can only hold out for so long before temptation breaks down all of his walls.
This series is all standalone books but I highly recommend starting at book one so you can meet the rest of the families and you’ll see their relationships form as well.
