Honestly, this was very mid. The main character was so annoying and I found the plot to be so rushed and not very well thought out. The synopsis sounded so interesting, I just wasn’t blown away by the actual story.

I found this book in Kindle unlimited and it looked interesting. I read it so fast. It was really good. Hazel, an Korean/American is a newly private eye. She gets a case from a rich woman to find her goddaughter. She has 10 days and she will get $100,000. It started out as a case to pay her bills and quickly turned into something else. Mia, the goddaughter disappears from an orphanage. As Hazel digs deeper she finds out that 50 girls have disappeared in last 25 years. This book was good in that no one was who they seemed. You suspected every person! Great quick read.
