Some parts were quite slow, and the vast number of people made it hard to keep track with at times, so I almost gave up halfway through— I am very glad I didn’t. I bought this book because I thought it would just be about the 16 plutonium injection patients, but it covered a wide range of unethical nuclear experiments during WWII and the Cold War. I enjoy her syntax and mannerisms in her writing. I had no idea about any of these experiments until I watched some youtube video about Chernobyl that recommended this read. Very informative.
