Wow. Seriously, wow. This series just gets better and better.

I love the complexity of the characters, and the way they continue to develop in each book. I love that Harrison is taking a character that I seriously dislike, and making him into someone I have respect for. Actually, make that two characters, though one of the two firmly won me over in Pale Demon.

I can't wait to see where this series goes next!

What a thriller. So much suspense. Can I just say "YAY" to Trent and Rachel getting closer. I have been waiting to long for the walls to start crumbling.

Rachel may not think her blood as perfect, but the evil members of a group intent on ridding the world want it. They think the can create a demon to destroy them all. They have no morals. They are where they are least expected. They won't stop until they have succeeded or until Rachel get involved.

The best thing about this story is it helps Rachel except who she is as a demon. The band she has been wearing since the end of last book needs to go. She is almost human as long as she wears it and the just won't do.

03/04/20 Grab the audiobook. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat throughout the latest adventure of Rachel Morgan. What a rush!!!!

Oh how I have missed Rachel! I have been looking forward to this book and it did not disappoint. This is more mystery and fighting bad guys that figuring out a love triangle. You can see where one may happen in the next book and I am shocked to say that I am hoping for a Rachel and Trent HEA! I hated that cookie maker in earlier books but he is really growing into a likable guy. I could see that the dream team of Rachel, Ivy and Jenks is not as tight as it once was and that makes my heart hurt. They are fantastic together and I want to see them doing more runs as a team. I loved the story and as always Rachel is growing just a little bit more into herself and I love it. I can definitely see this being a re-read.

A great read, as always. Harrison pulls you into the plot with this one to leave you questioning where things will go next.

This book had a much much slower pace than the last one and it was a bit of a welcome relief to allow Rachel a brief period of slight calm before the storm we all knew was going to come. I think she grew up even more in this book and I found myself truly feeling for her and wanting to give her a hug and tell her she wasn't alone.
The whole bracelet thing I can understand completely yes she was probably being slightly selfish not taking it off sooner but on the other hand with everything she has been through you can't blame the girl. The whole kidnapping storyline had me on edge and unable to put the book down. I had every faith in Rachel getting herself out but thought it was a great touch having the new awesome duo of Jenks and Trent finder her and Winnona. I would absolutely love a short story revolving around Ivy and Jenks trying to find Rachel to see what they did and how they coped. I know it was briefly touched on in the book but I think it would make a really powerful short story.
The whole Ivy and Glenn and Daryl storyline just seemed a little pointless to me yes it proved some great amusement at Rachel and Jenks realising what had gone on but I get the feeling it was only put in there to have Ivy and him break up. His disappearance at the end was way too sudden and almost like an after thought my favourite tomato loving FIB officer deserved more of a send off. Maybe he will appear again later with the new unknown bad guys. They are a new mystery and i'm sure they will face off against Rachel later on.
It would seem that we are being set up for a Trent and Rachel romance at the end but I would still love it to be Rachel and Ivy but I have a feeling Ivy will be with Nina next book as her rebound.
I am loving Belle and Bis they are 2 of my favourite new characters the fact that Bella is so protective of the garden and the kids it's so lovely. Her making clothes for Jenks as well just made me grin. I want to see a bit more Bis in the next book and with it being titled Ever After i'm hoping we will. I love that he is teaching Belle to read. Wayde was an interesting new character I really hope Rachel doesn't succumb to being with him I have a feeling it wouldn't end well and that David wouldn;t approve of it either seeing as Wayde isn't with a pack. He put up with a hell of a lot from Rachel and I think he will stay the distance.

Overall I loved it this series has been my life for the last 3 weeks and I am so gutted I have to wait until next year for the next book. I want more hollows.
