Is it bad that my favorite part of this book was the one with the ugly hog? And not that kind ugly hog. An actual ugly ass hog. I love that hog.

My first experience of charles Bukowski and he was a good strong writer very earthy. It was a series of very short personal tales of him as a drinker and a sex lover. I think every story is true and he tells it like it was then.
After reading most of the book and the stories I realized nothing new was coming and I returned the book to our library.
I did enjoy the readings

This was a humorous collection of Bukowski's best filled with crass characters and situations that leave you thinking..."WTF?"

3.5/5. A few diamonds is the dust, a bunch of alright stories and a few dark dabble in smut. All in all a good read for any Bukowski junkie like me!
