I am really enjoying this series! I really loved seeing Beatrice step into her new room as queen and watching her take ownership of that role. I also really loved watching the different romances bloom throughout the story!
decepcionante.
en serio el primer libro estaba bien pero han arruinado todo.

I’d rate this a 3.5. However, I have the third book ready to pick up at the library tomorrow & I read it in less than 2 days so it’s a quick read that will keep you locked in. Loved the continuing idea of of America had Royals. That storyline is what keeps you interested. As well, I continue to adore Beatrice. Her character development is the best IMHO. However there were some things that just didn’t do it for me.
- Daphne is SO mean and vindictive. Like she really has that much power and Jefferson and everyone else is so oblivious at how manipulative she is?! Like there were no redeeming qualities to her.
- Nina got to be annoying. Like she doesn’t wanna be in the spotlight but starts dating someone who will put her right there?! Make it make sense. And the “I’m a commoner…” just got old. Like your best friends with the princess!
- I was annoyed by the overuse of the word ‘tersely’.
- By the end it felt rushed and everything wrapped up not even too nicely, but weirdly?!
Again, I’m ready to read the third book in the series and am committed to finishing!

Tantos ships que parecían elegidos aleatoriamente me dejaron muy confundida pero en general no creo que haya fallado como segunda parte.
Such a guilty pleasure. This book is 100% predictable and the characters are shallow and suck. So cliche but couldn’t put it down.
this series just keeps getting better. i loved this installment, all the twists and turns and true realization of feelings like god damn this book was a roller coaster for real. i need to read the next book NOW.
