A fabulous collection of stories, written with breathtaking precision : oftentimes hideous, always human.

I rarely read books of more than 300 pages, but these 657 were too few!

Bowles is an author that you just wish he had written more or that someone found some new undiscovered manuscript he left somewhere in Morocco. Pure genius.
