The thing that drew me in to reading this book was the setting and the dynamic between the leads, and neither of those things disappointed! Sometimes the prose got a lil flowery for the sake of being flowery, and there's nothing super revolutionary in terms of the plot per se, but it was an enjoyable read (the characters are super fun especially) and I'm genuinely excited to read more in this series :)

An excellent murder mystery in the vein of Sherlock and Watson, this time in Regency London. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the sequels.
Graphic: Violence, Murder, Blood, Classism, Death, and Cursing
Minor: War and Colonisation
