This story got bumped up by half a star compared to the other two because it was more character driven, focusing more on the relationships and such than fighting. Sure, there were some interesting encounters, but it didn't feel quite as "heavy" in this book.
Still well written and enjoyable, even if I feel like Bellet was strongly inspired by The Princess Bride at points ;)
