An excellent romantasy! Admittedly I enjoyed it more that assassins blade which is big praise.

Engaging from the get go and so fast pased. This little packed a punch.

Solid read. I’m a sucker for pirate stories. This is labeled as dark fantasy but I didn’t read much dark vibes. The MMC is a standup dude and the only dark elements are when he talks about his youth.

4⭐️ I was hooked on this from the beginning! loved the pirate/viking theme mixed in with magic and the slow burn was definitely there from the start. the world building did get a bit confusing at some points as I think the author may have tried to fit too much into it and the MMC definitely used the term “love” too much lol but overall a fun read!
