Really good and important after House of M's conclusion. Lots of different characters and groups in this so it can be a little tricky to keep up if you are new to the x-men. The artwork is great. I do not however like some of the female characters costumes in this. It seems as though they were very deliberate in trying to reveal certian characters assets which I hate in comics.

Pretty good battle royale of xteams and villains.

En líneas generales he disfrutado con la historia pero el dibujo no me ha gustado mucho. Demasiados estilos distintos y las viñetas de acción son demasiado confusas.

I'm slowly catching up on years worth of X-Men continuity and figured this would be a good jumping on point. The story itself was fantastic, but good lord was the art in the New X-Men issues terrible.

I know little to nothing about the X-Men, comic book-wise, so there were a number of things in here that confused me (like who the Purifiers, Marauders, and the Reavers are; what the differences are between them; and what O*N*E Headquarters is), but I managed to piece together what was going on, more or less.

That, in itself, should say something about the quality of the writing in Messiah Complex - that a complete newbie like me was able to mostly follow the storylines.

But the reason Messiah Complex gets a 3 star rating rather than a 4 star rating is because I noticed some inconsistencies. For example, the baby's eye color changed. First, she had brown-gray eyes, then pale blue eyes, and then bright and vivid green eyes. A more obvious example would be Sinister's change in skin color from Nightcrawler blue to a light vampire-esque gray/white.

A little too long, a little too scattered with multiple creators, and too much New X-men I don't know to be perfect. Very close though.

Focuses too much on a dissapointing mystery and not enough on character. Artists going hard though.

It was really easy to put down in the middle, but not a bad story, just not an exciting and engaging one. I was reading it for the x-factor characters and they were largely off to the side, so...

Couple of my favorite artists on these (Bachalo, Ramos, Silvestri), some great covers. I don't have all of them, I'd love to have the set, but I think one is a key that I'm not going to want to pay for, so have to get lucky and find it in a $1 bin.

This was so cool that I didn't even get upset about the time travel (they avoided paradoxes as far as I could tell). Also I haven't read a lot of Cable comics so I found out that Scott Summers is actually his dad (not sure how his mom is). Loved that the different X-teams were all involved in this event and I liked the interactions between Scott and Xavier.
