A lovely cosy mystery from Agatha Christie. Do I need to say more?

This was my first ever Agatha Christie book, I enjoyed it immensely and NO I did not solve the murder before Miss Marple revealed who the killer was and how they did it. I made a list of all the suspects but was WAY off the mark. I can now see why her books are so popular and loved worldwide. I will most definitely be reading more of her books in the future.

I understand now why people say to read [b:The Body in the Library|16319|The Body in the Library (Miss Marple, #3)|Agatha Christie|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1389733809s/16319.jpg|3038784] first. This one is slow and overly detailed in a way that makes you just want to get through it. Not an annoying book, as I did want to finish it, just not the fun ride you were expecting.
The inspector was great with his brash way of brushing people aside and never listening to them. There wasn't enough of him. There were too many maps, and clocks, and time alibis to keep track of and I doubt anyone could solve the murder themselves just based on the convoluted way the story is presented.
This being said it is Miss Marple and who doesn't love an old spinster lady?
