Royally Endowed had a lovely slow romantic build, some humor, some sizzle, a bit of suspense, and a lot of sentiment. Fun book!

Closer to 3.75 stars. Really liked this. Shane East, one of the narrators, was amazing! I think he's Steve West. Anyway, the story was good. It took a bit to get going, but I loved it. Loved Logan so much. All that said, I felt like it could have used a little more. The suspense aspect was a little week, and Logan being an idiot seemed to come out of no where. A little more development there would have made this perfect.

Emma Chase is a very popular romance author, but I've only read a few of her books. Last year, I started the first book in this series, Royally Screwed, and had the hardest time getting into it, and never finished it. It was all for personal reading preferences, and nothing about the book being bad, by the way. Anyway, I wasn't sure if this series was for me. But the premise for the third book in this series, Royally Endowed, really appealed to me so I decided to give it a try. And I loved it so much!

Royally Endowed follows the sister of the heroine in book one, Ellie, and Logan St. James, a royal guard who helps keep Ellie safe. Royally Endowed is majorly a slow burn romance. It starts off when Ellie and Logan first meet, and she's still a senior in high school (Logan isn't a lot older than her, though, only about 4 years older than her), and goes all the way until Ellie has finished college. All this time Ellie has been somewhat in love with Logan, and Logan with her, as well. But they never pursued it. Until they can't resist each other any more.

Ellie was such a wonderful heroine, and I loved her from the very start. She's smart and intelligent and kind and spunky, and seriously I would love to be friends with her. And Logan totally, completely stole my heart. His job as a royal guard means a lot to him and he takes it very seriously. He can't help but care for Ellie, and seeing these two pine for each other for years was so sweet. When they FINALLY got together, I couldn't stop smiling. It just made my heart sigh.

I will say that I did every once in awhile get a little impatient for Ellie and Logan to actually get together. Chase spends so much time developing their relationship, which I loved, but also I wanted kissing right away! I also felt that some of the conflict once Ellie and Logan got together could have used a little more development. There was a particular scene that I wish we could have seen from Logan's point of view, because it felt like it came out of nowhere. But still, it's a mini gripe. I also felt like the suspense at the end could have used a bit more development as well. But again, small things here.

Royally Endowed is narrated by two people: Shane East and Andi Arndt. Andi Arndt was fine, but wow she really couldn't compete with Shane East. His voice and his narration - a huge reason I loved Logan so much. On a side note, I think Shane East is Steve West (who co-narrated The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater). Anyone know for sure? Either way Shane and Steve have the most amazing voices and I would listen to him/them read the phone book and love every minute of it.

Royally Endowed by Emma Chase is an romance, especially as an audiobook. I loved the characters, the setting, the story, and especially the narration.

I loved this series so freaking much that I assumed I would never be able to choose a favorite. Until now. Logan St James 💜 He's my everything and this series is pure perfection and a must read. Listen to the audiobooks if you want the ultimate experience because Shane East's voice was made for sin😈

The third book in Emma Chase’s perfect Royally series gave me everything I could have wanted and then some. There’s a delightfully slow burning and forbidden, explosive romance. There’s mystery and intrigue. And there’s also so much love and affection between Logan St. James and Ellie Hammond that I couldn’t help but swoon on a regular basis.

There are so many things I adore about this book, but my favorite part is how slow the slow burn is. Because it takes place over several years, Royally Endowed really takes the time to explore the growth of the relationship between Ellie and Logan. Their relationship goes from a business one and a one sided crush to a true friendship built on mutual respect before ever becoming truly romantic, which just helps make the affection they have for each other feel so honest and believable. This isn’t a short term infatuation. They have spent a significant portion of their days together for years; they really know each other down to their core. So when they do finally end up together, the emotion and sexual tension is just explosive and also feels like coming home.

The pairing of Logan and Ellie seemed a little odd to me at first, mostly just because of the obvious age difference between them. But once Chase really explored their relationship and the depth of their feelings for each other, I was absolutely sold. Logan is the consummate protector. He would literally die for Ellie, and not just because it’s his job. There’s something very romantic about that, but more than that, it says so much about Logan and his loyalty towards those people that matter the most to him. And I loved that while Ellie did occasionally need saving, she was just as strong willed and fierce as Logan, making her an excellent match for him in a romantic relationship. Being the protector wasn’t just a one-way street, it was just as important for Ellie to feel like she could save Logan. They felt like the kind of couple that you really could see having a happily ever after.

Yes! We are back in the Royally world again!

This is Ellie (Olivia from Royally Screwed's sister) and Logan (Nicholas from RS's bodyguard)

First I fell for Nicholas Pembrook, then it was for his brother Henry (yep, keeping it allll in the family!)

But that was because I hadn't yet met Logan St James

Logan is sexy AF, all kinds of swoonworthy and I just want him to be mine. He is like Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard, and broody and standoffish, but ready to swoop in to save his lady.

Sigh... now I want to watch The Bodyguard - again.

Oh how I love these two. I adored Ellie when we first met her, she is only a teenager back then, and should soooo not be on Logan's radar. But she is. And he has pinged her radar big time.

They are so not right for each other, that they are.

I love that we get lots of Nicholas and Olivia, Henry and Sophie, and even Queen Lenora!

This book is full of laughter, fun, sweet and sad and a dose of suspense thrown in for good measure.

I have really enjoyed this series, and now I am impatiently waiting to see what Ms Chase brings us next!

*4 Stars*

Finally got around to reading this one. I've been curious for Ellie and Logan since the start. This was quite an easy read and the characters were fun. There were plenty of serious moments, but plenty of fun ones too.

It takes quite a while to build up to Ellie and Logan getting their chance, but its great when they finally do.

I love how we get our favourites back in the form or Ellies sister Olivia, along with Nicholas, Henry, Sarah and the Queen.

An enjoyable read, I really like this world. Would recommend.
