Loved this series and this book just makes me want to re-read the previous books. I really loved both Logan and Ellie. So glad Nicholas and Henry had roles in this book - I've missed their humor.
This author can do no wrong - another great read.

Have I mentioned how much I like Logan before?????? Because I do! When he showed up in the first book, I remember thinking "watch this man get his own spin off" and I was totally right.... thank you, Emma Chase, for not disappointing me.
Now, I definitely wasn't expecting it to be with Ellie. These two are just sdfghjaslasdjakda
I enjoyed how this was spaced out throughout the years. The prologue confused the hell out of me but then the 1st chapter was set "5 years earlier" and omg seeing Logan and Ellie throughout the years and their friendship and then, later on, the actual relationship...and all the troubles that came with it because, let me tell you, unlike the other 2 books, this was probably the most intense book in the series. Like, sitting on the edge of my chair, bitting my nails because for a while there everything was going wrong, type of book.
This fed my love for the bodyguard trope like nothing else (I'm now realising I hadn't read a book with that trope in way too long).
I listened to this entire series on audiobook (thanks, scribd, you're the real MVP), which was amazing! Both narrators did a phenomenal job, especially the male narrator, who was really good at narrating all 3 male main characters in the 3 book very distinctly. You couldn't mix them up if you tried because he had a different accent for each. I'd like to listen to other audiobooks narrated by him because he quickly became one of my favourite male narrators.
The female narrator was Andi Arndt, one of my favourite narrators for contemporary romance, and she also did a fantastic job narrating all 3 characters. I wouldn't say they were as distinct as the male ones but it was still really good.
If you have the chance to listen to this on audiobook, I'd definitely recommend it. You won't have your experience ruined by bad audiobook narration with this series.

I was stupid and didn’t realize I had read the first book of this series before, so I got to a point where I was like, “some of these characters and settings sound way too familiar.”
I wasn’t too enthralled by this book. The main story was cute but it definitely isn’t a pure standalone. I just don’t think the story is elaborate enough to be memorable. (But then again, I remembered bits of the first book, so who knows?)

I love this series so much. Each time a new one comes out, I think it's my favorite.. but I can't really pick a favorite, because they're all so good. Logan and Ellie are just so perfect together, and their romance, which spans years from beginning to end, is just so heartwarming and adorable. I already had to go back through and re-read a few favorite scenes. I hope there will be more in this series, it's quickly become one of my favorites.

I. Loved. This.
My favourite part was this : "Let's go, Negan-hand Lucille over."
I literally laughed out loud
(Those who watch the walking dead will understand what I'm on about :) )

I like most books by Emma Chase. This one is no different. While the main characters are a bit annoying, the story still works.
God DAMN, I loved this book. It was too short. And yet, it was perfect. I absolutely adored Ellie and Logan's story. I have no words.
As always, Andi Arndt and Shane East were sublime. Shane was swoony as always, and Andi was sweet and sassy.
I'm sad to see this trilogy end. It was such a perfect, wonderful set if books. Thank you, Emma. Thank you for Nicholas and Olivia, Henry and and Sarah, Logan and Ellie.

Another yummy book by Emma Chase. I accidentally skipped book #2 and listened to this. The audiobook is truly amazing!
Logan St. Jame is a yummy delicious looking bodyguard of Prince Nicholas. He has been assigned to watch Ellie, cheerful cute girl who always try to find good in people.
This is definitely a slow buring romance but god! when they fall in love or more like when they admit that they want each other, it is a hot mess and I am here for the hot mess. Emma Chase is a genuis with her words. This is my second book of her and I am more than happy to read all of her works. I was all happy and giddy and HOT! Do not read or listen to this book in public. You have been warned!

A low-angst and sweet bodyguard romance! While I appreciated that it was a little different with a conflict that wasn't about the "taboo-ness" of a bodyguard/client relationship, I found the third-act conflict to be random, rushed and unsatisfying.
There really wasn't anything wrong with this story. The dynamics between Ellie and Logan were sweet, with Ellie being a ball of sunshine and Logan being a stern brunch daddy :) But....apart from such characterisation, everything else about them was one-dimensional. That the plot comprised mostly of the couples from the previous books was also disappointing. It took the attention away from our main couple.
The pacing towards the end was rushed and definitely didn't match the "slow-burn" between Ellie and Logan that was established in the earlier half of the book.
Apart from the gripes I have with the execution, this was nonetheless a quick read I'd recommend to anyone looking for a simple and sweet romance with really cute couple dynamics.
