5 Lemon Sucking CROWNS

Emma Chase has always been a favorite of mine, but she has truly created something fantastic with this series of standalones. Each story and each character has hit the bulls-eye every single time, and Royally Endowed completes the hat trick.

Ellie Hammond stole the show for me in this one. Her whole aura and attitude for life drew me to her character, making it clear to see why Logan would have been enamored with this spitfire. The way in which Emma Chase writes her character makes Ellie vibrate with life, like readers can feel the essence of her character through the pages. Ellie makes readers want to live life freely and taking every single moment it has to offer. It is intoxicating and lovely, and readers, as well as Logan, have no choice but to succumb to the charms of this woman.

Logan is the perfect bodyguard. He is honorable and brave with just the right amount of aloofness to give off the impression that he doesn't care, but readers get to see glimpses of his heart and his depth of emotion for Ellie. With each moment with her, readers fall more and more in love with Logan and his heroic persona, and when he finally opens his heart to Ellie, the passion he emotes and shows her will leave readers in a puddle on the floor.

This is another slow-burn, but readers will love the way Emma Chase has chosen to tell their story. She opens the story by dropping readers into the middle of the story leaving them on the edge of their seats, knowing that they will be coming back to this scene. The pacing and passage of time. thought, allows readers to get glimpses of these two through the years. They get to see Ellie and Logan evolve in a natural way, allowing their feelings to grow and develop authentically. The author shows readers their struggles with admitting how they feel and how they flirt with the line of truth. With all the build up, it is explosive when these two finally come together and admit how they feel. The conflict of the story is relatively clear from the beginning, but the way Emma Chase details each moment of their issues will make readers feel every break of their hearts, only to have their hearts racing as a result of climax and falling action of the story. As with all royal fairytales, Emma Chase delivers the conclusions that is Disney-worthy, showing readers a happily-ever-after that will have them cheesy grinning without a care in the world.

I have absolutely loved this series of standalones. Everything from the world she created to the stories she told enraptured me. It will be one of my very favorite romantic series because not only does it give readers epic stories of love but it also shows readers that love is for everyone.

I listened to the audiobook and loved the narrators. I've enjoyed all the books in this series. I loved the H/h and the story. I'm hoping Tommy will get a book.

5 Swoon-Worthy Bodyguard Stars!!

“My gut is my best friend, my conscience, my most lethal asset.”

“He makes me feel wanted. Valued and important, like I’m someone worth protecting. Knowing this man would give his life to shield me, guard me from pain or danger–it’s a heady thing.”

“The Queen was right. Love isn’t a cure; it doesn’t magically solve every problem. But it makes solving those problems worth it. Love is our inspiration, our motivation….and our reward.”

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Did I ever love this book! Royally Endowed enchanted and captivated me. From swoon worthy moments to moments that just gave you all the feels, this book consumed my heart and was more than I could have ever imagined….

Told from dual points of view, Royally Endowed is the third book in the Royally Series and it follows the story of Ellie and Logan. For as long as Ellie can remember, she had her sights set on Logan. He was her fighter, her protector, he closest of friends. He is fierce and intense and everything that Ellie could ever want. But, Logan and Ellie could never be. Her attraction to Logan is forbidden as he is her bodyguard. Even knowing that they could never be more than friends, that doesn’t stop the pull Ellie feels for Logan. Ellie is young and doesn’t know where she sees herself in 5 years, but she does know one thing: she wants her own HEA….Logan has spent his life working hard and building the career and life he’s always dreamed. He is respected and hard working. You will never find a more loyal man. He has everything that he could possibly want…that is except for one thing; the woman that makes his heart sing. For years Logan has done his duty and watched over Ellie. But, as the years have gone by, his feelings have progressed. The pull is becoming too hard to fight. Logan knows that he and Ellie come from two different classes, but sometimes want and need are more important than logic. When it comes to love, there is a thin line between right and wrong, life and duty. Will Logan and Ellie get the happiness and life that they’ve always wanted?? There is only one way to find out…

Royally Endowed is by far and away my favorite story in this series to date. It’s no secret that over the course of this series, author Emma Chase has enraptured me with her smart writing and brilliant story-lines. The characters just call to you and before you know it, they consume every piece of your soul, making you fall desperately for them. And that most certainly is the case with Royally Endowed. I fell for this story straight away. I mean how can you go wrong with royalty and the hot bodyguard. Knowing just that little tidbit, you just know this story is going to be amazing and I promise you, it does not disappoint. Logan and Ellie’s story draws you in from the very first page and just utterly consumes you. Before you know it, you are blowing through the pages at a rapid pace. Ellie and Logan’s story pulled at my heart, while giving me all the feels. My emotions are all over the place in the best way possible and I seriously can’t get enough.

Royally Endowed was everything that I wanted and needed in Logan and Ellie’s story. It was full of angst and romance and swoon worthy moments. There was action and a bit of suspense. And just when I thought I couldn’t get enough, this story gave me a little bit more. I truly enjoyed everything about this story and couldn’t think of a better way to spend my day than getting lost in Ellie and Logan.

Let’s face it. A gorgeous and caring man who keeps you company 24/7 and guards every inch of your body like it’s his job—which it absolutely is—is all kinds of sexy. Bonus: he bakes a mean pie. By the end of this book I was channeling my inner Whitney Houston à la The Bodyguard and belting out, “And i-e-i will always love-you-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-i will always love you.” I fell hard for bodyguard Logan St. James. He totally kicks Kevin Costner’s ass!

Logan is a member of Prince Nicholas of Wessco’s royal security team and is tasked with guarding his fiancé’s sister, Ellie. Logan is a man of honor, and I love that he not only takes care of her physically, but emotionally as well. For five years he faithfully guards her and resists Ellie’s constant flirtations.

It’s so sweet to see Ellie evolve from a naïve 17-year-old with a cute crush on Logan, to a stunning 22-year old woman in love with her protector. Throughout it all, she maintains her playfulness and independence.

I appreciate romances that have a slow burn, and this story takes its precious time developing Ellie and Logan’s forbidden attraction from simmering to smoldering. I enjoyed every crackle, sizzle, and pop of their relationship along the way.

This story is heavy on the swoon factor, and it’s also incredibly funny. Picture this. It was 3:00 am and I was in bed with my eyes glued to my Kindle since I simply could not put the book down. My husband was asleep because, you know, normal people are asleep in the middle of the night. I kept covering my mouth and biting my lip to keep from laughing out loud. Unfortunately, my muffled laughter was shaking the bed so hard that I woke him up anyway. #truestory #badwife

The bottom line is if you want an exuberant love story that is undeniably hilarious and utterly delightful, look no further than Royally Endowed.

These books are all so good.

Oh, I love Logan and Ellie!

My review has been posted on Shelly's Book Corner

www.goodreads.com/review/show/2093392877

Logan has been a guard for the royal Wessco family for years, to the point he guards the family. He has watched the royal princess sibling for over five years. Ellie has grown from a teen to a young adult that Logan has fallen in love with over the years. Loved seeing Queen cockblock her family members. The bodyguard and the sister of the princess.

Only issue I had was the constant fast forward into he future. I found it a little hard to follow, but did love the story line.
