A fun, well-plotted spy novel. Perfect escapist reading if you like a realistic foiling of terrorist plots.

difĂcil de entender, muita coisa a acontecer, confuso

I enjoy this series, this one seemed a little close to home with all the terrorist activities going on, but great story. Gabriel is still trying to NOT be the head of the agency by going out on one more assignment, this time recruiting someone to infiltrate ISIS.

If you don't believe how dangerous ISIS is from the news, read this novel.

This was my first foray into Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allen series. The Israelis infiltrate ISIS to stop them and catch Saladin. It had a slow start, but once enthralled, I could not put down. Now to go back to the beginning of the series

Entertaining.

Not enough Gabriel Allon in this outing--he's missing from huge swathes of the novel as his recruit infiltrates ISIS. I also think it would make for a more compellingly complex novel if there were some more non-terrorist Muslims represented in the book.

5 Stars

The Black Widow is the sixteenth book in the Gabriel Allon series by Daniel Silva.
This is definitely one of my favourites of the series, so far. A riveting tale that had me hooked right from the beginning. With Gabriel set against an elusive terrorist mastermind; a complicated web of deceit, a beautiful doctor, a Black Widow, a terrorist group - and a deadly game of vengeance- all meshed into an unputdownable read.
As I have mentioned before, this is another book/series that has been languishing on my TBR- which I finally got around to dusting the cobwebs off- and jumped right in. I read the series back to back.
