The world is full of horror, and yet we love. And yet we dance.

This book was so heartwarming, its a tale of found family and perseverance. But mostly it's about abuse; what it's like to live on the fringes of society; and how limitations in a society damage everyone. I learnt so much from this book about history and politics.

I loved reading this book. The novel is vivid and transports you to the time and place. The story was interesting and new to me.
