This book seemed to me to be an odd departure from the rest of this series so far. Instead of her usual private investigation, Kinsey goes undercover. She befriends Bibianna Diaz an insurance fraudster. She got Bibianna's name after the death of one of her friends and colleagues, who had flagged her in the system. She takes on the identity of Hannah Moore and ends up in jail for the night with Bibianna after a dinner goes horribly wrong and someone is killed. When they are released they are picked up by Bibianna's dangerous ex-boyfriend Raymond Maldonado. For all intents and purposes, the two women have been kidnapped by Raymond and forced into his insurance fraud scheme. Kinsey is usually a pretty tough character but in this book she seemed quite passive and not in a real hurry to get away from Raymond. The story line was OK but the dialogue was pretty bad.

Good addition to the Alphabet series. Great book for a rainy day.

I liked the story but there wasn't much of a mystery to it as with previous books and the ending felt really rushed.

A bit unusual from the other stories in the series, but I really liked it, actually. :)
