i enjoyed this one way more than i expected! the whole atmosphere/feel of it is very distinct; it's the type of book where i might not remember everyone's names or every plot point, but it feels like i could keep jumping into sequels without rereading. if that makes sense. i love how many authors have been doing novellas, but i very much need the prices to come down bc damn. v happy i found this one on book outlet and i def want to read the sequels (i think more were jur announced? maybe 5 in total? i could be wrong.) but book 2 is purple and beautiful and i might actually break down and pay full price to catch up with mossa and plieti again!!
i think this is a great recommendation to give if you haven't been reading a ton or are in a slump and you just want something fast and engaging that's intelligently written but also doesn't demand a ton from the reader.
