Autumncrow is the perfect Halloween read to get into that spooky spirit.

Follow Me In ⭐.5 - it was a tad too short; it ended just as I started to get into the story.

Pumpkin Light ⭐⭐⭐ - this was sad but sweet.

Burnt Brownies ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - wow! This one had me hooked; it gave trick-r-treat and R.L. Stine vibes.

Frost ⭐⭐ - it started okay, but then it lost me.

Saving Face ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - it had gore; I like gore. Also, quite the happy ending for the kid anyway.

I Have No Mouth and I Must Feed>/i> ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 - again, this one had me hooked; nice and gruesome. It felt like it might have linked to the first story in this collection, Follow Me In.

CRYP-TV ⭐⭐⭐ - it started good, but the ending was boring. I was expecting a bit of gore but didn't get any.

There Are Monsters Here ⭐⭐.5 - I will probably have to give this story another try. I was a bit confused about what was going on.

Autumncrow is a nice anthology of spooky stories perfect for October or to read in the fall months! I really liked that not every story was necessarily a horror tale, so it has a little something for everyone.

Each story has some interesting twist and I really enjoyed them all. The ones that stand out the most and are my absolute favorites are Pumpkin Lights (sweet), Burnt Brownies (sad), and Cryp-TV (funny). I wish there were actually more stories because I feel like there are so many more interesting people and places in the town of Autumncrow.

Highly recommend to fans of horror anthologies that are on the lighter side or anyone looking for a spooky anthology just in time for spooky season!
