Was just okay. Audible voice wasn’t my favorite. Reacher doesn’t have a NY accent

Did not like the first person narration. Reacher's 'know-it-all' attitude is just so over the top on this book, it is too much. I didn't like the flash back sequence towards the end of the book. I think it was because I was so ready for the book to be over that when it started going back ten years I felt it totally unnecessary and like it just made the story that much more longer. I don't expect to be readying any more Reacher stories for a while. Kinds of sux becaus Bad Luck & Trouble was soooo good to me, this one, not so much.

I stumbled upon this page after trying to think of where to recommend a friend of mine starts with the series.
Persuader was quick to jump into my mind.
For good reason, too. The action and badassery starts from page one, and the first few chapters really explain and set up the rest of the plot.
Overall, I think this was one of my favourites in the series.

If you've read any Jack Reacher novel, you know what to expect. A sex scene partway through the book, a few quick fights, Jack's wits.

Quick read. Like most Reacher books, the heavy action is in the last 50 pages.
