Could there be a weirder and funnier book in the canon of elementary schoolchildren’s literature? Maybe, but it must be kept on the 19th story. There is no Miss Zarves. There is no 19th story. Sorry.

Tales from the classroom on the 30th floor of Wayside School.

Absurd, hilarious, and fun.
