This book was amazing! This retelling of Cinderella was spot on. The fairy godmother, pumpkin, prince charming, every thing about this was wow.
Each character was developed in a wonderful way. It was beautiful how Darien and Elle met and agh so beautiful
Perfect for fangirls/guys and for fans of the Lunar Chronicles series and the movie Starstruck.

I heard someone say that this book is a love letter to fandom, and I could't agree more, it's one of those books that make you proud of being a geek. Elle her story made my laugh, cry and scream of joy. This book is about love, about being yourself, about hope and about things that are possible in our impossible universe...

This was a very fun retelling. My favorite part was the fandom aspect. I can definitely relate to having major love and devotion to a TV series.

I had so much fun reading this this book. I loved the spin on the cinderella story. I have to say, it reminded me a little bit of Another Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff. The ballroom scene was my favorite, of course. I loved the characters. I feel like there was something missing from the story.. I just can’t put my finger on it.

Surprisingly good for a YA book that I wouldn’t normally have picked. Honestly, the only reason I read it was because it was one of the three books my book club picked. The step mother pissed me off a time or two (also if Elle’s name is on the will for the house..like hell Catherine can sell that house!). Overall not a bad read!

To be honest, I was completely surprised by this book. I have been in one of the worst reading slumps of my life in the recent months, and dare I say that this book lifted me out of it a little? I luckily didn't have homework (for once) and managed to read the majority of it within a few hours. It was safe to say that I was completely hooked. AH! It was amazing. I loved it.

Instantly I fell in love with the incredibly relatable character, Elle, and tumbled into a story that I constantly forgot was a Cinderella re-telling. Elle is like many people on this site. A total Fangirl.
Darien is a major heart throb and for sure the newest addition to my book boyfriends list. I loved getting to go through the events of the story from both Elle and Darien's perspectives. I'm not going to lie, some points had me squirming in my seat with excitement.

Two Words. Dramatic Irony.

The whole concept of ExcelsiCon and the cosplay contest was amazing!
And that ending!!!! UGH where can I get myself someone like Darien?
I love it how Sage was Elle's saviour--or should I say fairy godmother-- in this story.

This book is definitely one of my new favourites (wasn't expecting that TBH) and I can see myself re-reading it in the future. I applaud you, Ashley Poston.
