Anyone who has been a fangirl/fanboy at any point in their life will find many, and I mean many, parts of this book relatable. This was such a quick, fun, and cute read. (tho I admit there were some parts where CERTAIN characters got under my skin it was so frustrating)

So the book’s title is unfortunate, but the contents within are worthy. What a smart, adorable and inspiring tale. Elle is equal parts bad ass and insecure, you know, like most teenagers. And Darien has to prove that he’s more than his abs but also suppresses his inner nerd. And can we talk about how the prince is a MAN OF COLOR? And that there are queer teens who are not tragic and not used for comic relief? So damn refreshing. I would give this five stars but the villains are just way over the top to be believable and are actually distracting from what is otherwise a really fun read. Take a chance on this one.

Look to the stars. Aim. Ignite.

It was quite a good read, the fanfic aspect was hard to catch up on and in the end I did wish the Starfield was a real thing I would go and see now. As all the reruns of Cinderella there is a happy ending waiting for a reader. I did wish Catherine would have gotten a bit more punishment and not let off the hook too easily, but oh well. I enjoyed it, but I will not be reading the series.
