Whoa, Hori's hair is brown? Her hair is so light in the black and white manga that I thought she was blonde (and I missed her brunette hair on the cover of the first book). Whoa, betrayed by my mind's eye.
Quite a lot of good little stories this time. I liked Sakura's story, Miyamura confronting his past, Hori making Miyamura watch a scary movie, etc.

Reading these out of order because I've already read it (before it was serialized) and I realized my library has some of them! Horimiya is probably my favorite josei manga simply because of the depth of the character's relationships. While at most times the manga is lighthearted, it's punctuated with moments of seriousness and sincerity.
many thoughts??? the violent side of hori was funny once or twice when it seemed like a slap on the arm but now it just looks like a serious problem?? how is that a good plot point at all? i feel like the story is slowing down and not a lot is happening and then BAM chapter 37.... im gonna keep reading but i hope the story improves :///
