Wow, what an amazing book.
I really didn't expect to read such a story.
It was kind of like space Hunger Games but better.
Amazing plot, world building and characters, I can't believe this was a debut.

As always I’m a sucker for a good dystopian society! Boy, did Pierce Brown deliver! The book itself was riveting and the exploration of anger, vengeance, and humanity made my little dystopian obsessed inner child giddy. I will DEFINITELY be continuing the series!! I do recommend the Graphic Audio, although I feel it cut off at a weird time. This book does explore very dark themes including martyrdom, attempted suicide, forced prostitution, gruesome death, slavery, etc. So if you’re sensitive to these topics I would avoid. (I didn’t find it as bad as the war crime descriptions in The Poppy Wars though)
