This book was all over the place. The initial suspense was a lot and then the ending just was whoah but I am glad for Maisey and I really liked how things worked out. I also loved the epilogue it felt so worth it. I also have been enjoying the many intersections between this series and others.

This one just might be my favorite of the series. It had a bit of everything. Insta love/connection, some action and mystery, sweet words and steamy scenes, some drama thrown in and a really sweet love story. ❤️

We met Maisy Holt in the first book in the Jamison Valley series when she was Gigi’s coworker at the Prescott hospital as a fellow nurse. When that book ended, Maisy chose to leave nursing after the tragedy that happened at the hospital. In the next three books we learn that Maisy has bought the town Inn and she lives with her son Coby.
Now for the Bitterroot Inn, Maisy has focused all of her time and energy not spent with her son on the Bitterroot Inn. She has done serious renovations and it has become her passion/distraction. When a new guest Hunter Faraday comes to stay there she realizes it may be time to date after 3 years.
Hunter Faraday is the new town doctor who is withholding a lot of truths. For a majority of the book we don’t know his true connections to Maisy and her past but when we find out, sheesh! This book had so many twists but I am so happy that Maisy and Colby found their happily ever after!

Devney Perry books have very quickly become an addiction for me. There's something so comforting about knowing even if there's intense drama/suspense, we are tucked into a small town in Montana following two people who are figuring out how best to love the other.
The last full-length installment of the Jamison Valley series, The Bitterroot Inn did not disappoint. I was glued to the page, feeling a myriad of emotions through the journey. This is one of those books that doesn't feel its length!
Sing hallelujah and rejoice – finally a Devney Perry man I can 100% get behind! He's hot, smart, mature, relatively successful/wealthy, and gives great orgasms. What's not to love? Granted, I'm not (personally) sold on a man-bun being hot IRL, but it was a fun detail, especially for an otherwise strait-laced doctor. The way he loved and cared for both Maisy and Coby was precious. I love single parent romances because watching the love interest fall in love with two hearts at once? Gets me in my feels every time!
In this case, Hunter had secrets. I did not expect what his secret ended up being (oh, I wish I could have seen my own face as I read that scene)! He had secrets, but here's the thing: he tried multiple times to tell Maisy, to pull her aside and give her advanced warning. In her own words, Maisy "put her head in the sand" and then got pissed because he kept things from her. Like girl??? Be so for real, this is on you.
Other than her, ahem, significant lapse in courage, I did like Maisy overall. She's a devoted mom and seeing her come out of her (emotional) shell with Hunter bit by bit was very satisfying. As a child of a single mom, they truly do it all, and Maisy's work ethic is REAL. Especially beautiful when you consider what she's built at the inn.
A very worthy read, especially if you love small town single parent stories!

This was adorable. Loved Hunter and Maisy.
I’m sad this series is coming to an end. This has been a fun and wild ride.
